Russell's Fluid Drive Style T5 Adapter Kit

Russell’s Automotive is pleased to announce a T5 adapter kit to put a Chevy S10 or Ford/Camaro T5 five-speed manual overdrive transmission into one of the following Chrysler Flathead powered vehicles:

1939-53 Chrysler • 1940-53 Desoto • 1941-54 Dodge

If your vehicle has one of these transmissions, this kit will work using your original clutch pedal setup (with some adjustments):

Vacamatic, Prestomatic, Fluidmatic (Chrysler), Simplimatic, Tip-Toe Hydraulic Shift (DeSoto) and Gyromatic (Dodge)

Our new kit contains the following parts:

1 - Adapter Plate (for either S10 or Ford/Camaro transmission)
1 - Special made 9 1/4" Clutch Disc
1 - Clutch Pivot Bolt
1 - Special Pilot Bushing
4 - Adapter to bell housing bolts
4 - Transmission to Adapter bolts
1 - Clutch Fork
1 - Remanufactured Pressure Plate

All of these parts must be changed in order to adapt the T5 to your vehicle.

YOU MUST ALSO CHANGE THE BELL HOUSING TO A 3-SPEED MANUAL STYLE BELL HOUSING FROM ANY 1942-55 CHRYSLER PRODUCT — I have bell housings available if you cannot source one locally, but they are expensive to ship!
