Russell's Automotive LIMITED Warranty for Replacement Parts

Products Warranted

This limited warranty applies to all new parts sold and marketed by Russell's Automotive unless specifically excluded below. Russell's Automotive replacement parts are warranted to be free from, defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service.

U.S.A. AND International Coverage

Russell's Automotive parts are covered for 6 months, or 3,000 miles, whichever occurs first from date of first installation.

Russell's Automotive responsibilities

Due to the nature of the parts being used to revise a non-OEM application, Russell's Automotive will only replace parts that may have failed due to workmanship or material failure. Improper installation or alteration of the part(s) may void the warranty completely. Labor costs are not included for any warranty claim.

Owner responsibilities

Proof of purchase is required for ANY submission of warranty claims.

Owner is responsible for the operating and maintenance of the engine as specified in the Operating and Maintenance manuals. Before the expiration of the applicable warranty, owner must give notice to Russell's Automotive of a failure considered to be warrantable.

It is the owner’s responsibility to provide failed and associated parts for examination by Russell's Automotive Technical Services Department in a condition that makes such examination possible. Owner is responsible for the cost of all repairs made to items other than the engine in which the parts are installed. Owner is responsible for any other maintenance items replaced during warranty repairs. Owner is responsible for “down-time” expenses and all business costs and losses resulting from a warrantable failure.

Warranty limitations

Russell's Automotive is not responsible for failures resulting from owner or operator or third party abuse or neglect, such as: operation without adequate coolant, fuel or lubricants, over-speeding, lack of maintenance of lubricating, improper storage, starting, warms-up, run-in or shut-down practices.

Russell's Automotive is not responsible for failures resulting from improper repair or installation or the use of parts not approved by Russell's Automotive. This warranty DOES NOT apply to parts provided by Russell's Automotive at no charge to the owner.

The warranty set forth herein are the sole warranties made by Russell's Automotive in regard to its parts. NO AGENT, EMPLOYEE OR REPRESENTATIVE OF RUSSELL'S AUTOMOTIVE HAS ANY AUTHORITY TO BIND RUSSELL'S AUTOMOTIVE TO ANY ADDITIONAL REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTY. Russell's Automotive makes no other warranties, express or implied, or of merchant- ability or fitness for a particular purpose.

RUSSELL'S AUTOMOTIVE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AT ANY TIME; HOWEVER, ANY SUCH MODIFICATION WILL NOT ALTER THE WARRANTY CONDITIONS APPLICABLE AT THE TIME OF SALE.
